MARRAUM COVID-19 UPDATE

To all of our clients,

We hope that you are staying safe and keeping well in these uncertain times.

Firstly we would like to take the opportunity to thank our clients for their continued support. We’re proud of our Cornwall home, and of the community that surrounds us. I would also like to share with you an update on the steps that we’re taking at Marraum.

Marraum’s team have relocated to working from home and, after a few weeks of working in this way with great results, we’re confident that our excellent team can deliver remotely in the long-term. Whilst we miss our waterfront home at Jubilee Warehouse, we understand the importance of following the government’s guidance and hope to be back as soon as we can.

Logistically, our company are fortunate enough to have a structure that has been able to adapt successfully to the current working situation. As a team, we work on cloud-based software, CAD programmes and a secure network infrastructure that allows us to keep delivering outputs to the same high standard as we would in the office.

Maintaining clear and open communication with everyone involved in our work is our priority, and I‘m pleased that our flexible team have quickly embraced the changes. We can still partner with clients and collaborators closely, using video conferencing to ensure communication remains seamless and an essential part of the creative process.

So what does this mean for our new clients and projects? Understandably a few aspects of our processes have changed temporarily. We will no longer be doing physical inspections of properties - instead our experienced team can bring your design to life based on client collaboration, photos and measurements, as well as supporting information like estate agents floor plans. This evidence combines to give us the necessary details that we need to start the process to produce full-visualised concepts as normal.

The positive is that there has never been a better time to get the creative ideas flowing. As people are examining new approaches to their life, so too are they exploring new possibilities within the space they live in. Bringing your dream home to life is a process that can take many months, and there has never been a better time to start.

If you would like to talk architecture and find out more about how we can help, then our door - as ever - is open and welcoming.
