For this cottage renovation, authenticity was key. From taking stock of the original building methods used, to locating natural local materials, we ensured attention to detail in creating an extension that complimented the existing buildings and worked within the constraints of the site. As the setting of a listed building, and within an AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), it was important that we took precautions to create a design that would both respect and compliment the local landscape.
An inspiring proposal earnt commendation from the Parish Council and, with the project nearing completion, we’re delighted with its success.
